These terms govern your use of jobzeeker. By creating an account, uploading a CV, or buying a pass, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
jobzeeker is operated by lalec (lalec.ch), a sole proprietorship based in Switzerland (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at contact@jobzeeker.io.
2. The service
jobzeeker matches your CV against companies' own hiring portals and shows the results on an interactive map so you can compare cities. Matches are AI-generated suggestions: we do not guarantee that a listing is current, that you will be hired, or that coverage of any city is complete, and you should verify a role on the employer's own site before applying. We do not apply to jobs on your behalf.
3. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use jobzeeker.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to use the service lawfully.
4. The CV you upload
By uploading a CV, you confirm that:
- it is your own, or you have the necessary rights and consent to upload it;
- the information in it is yours to share; and
- it does not infringe anyone's rights and is not unlawful.
You grant us a limited, revocable licence to process your CV solely to produce and show your matches. We do not use it to train models or for any other purpose, and you can delete it at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use jobzeeker to:
- upload another person's data without their consent, or impersonate anyone;
- scrape, resell, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service or its data;
- use automated means to extract listings in bulk; or
- do anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
6. Your data and our platform
- You retain all rights in the CV you upload.
- We retain all rights in the jobzeeker platform, software, models, prompts, the matched dataset, branding, and website.
- Job listings and company information are sourced from employers' own public career pages and remain the property of their respective owners.
7. Passes and payment
- Access is sold as one-time, time-boxed passes (not a subscription), priced in US dollars and shown before purchase. A pass grants matching across every active hub for its duration, subject to fair use.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; by paying you also agree to Stripe's terms. We never receive your full card details.
- Applicable taxes, if any, are shown or added at checkout.
- At checkout you agree that access begins immediately, so your pass starts as soon as your payment is confirmed.
8. Refunds
Passes are digital access, available immediately. If jobzeeker isn't for you, email contact@jobzeeker.io within 14 days of purchase and — provided you have not substantially used the pass (beyond a handful of matches) — we will refund it in full to your original card via Stripe (typically 3–5 business days). This is in addition to any statutory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.
9. AI output
jobzeeker produces match suggestions using third-party AI models. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose, and you are responsible for reviewing and verifying any listing before acting on it.
10. Warranties and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Swiss law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or from data you upload without the necessary rights or consent.
12. Termination
You may stop using jobzeeker and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or where required by law.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, and the competent Swiss courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
