These terms govern your use of jobzeeker. By creating an account, uploading a CV, or buying a pass, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
jobzeeker is operated by lalec (lalec.ch), a sole proprietorship based in Switzerland (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at contact@jobzeeker.io.
2. The service
jobzeeker matches your CV against companies' own hiring portals and shows the results on an interactive map so you can compare cities. Matches are AI-generated suggestions: we do not guarantee that a listing is current, that you will be hired, or that coverage of any city is complete, and you should verify a role on the employer's own site before applying. We never send an application for you: Apply for me helps you prepare one, and you submit it yourself (see section 15).
3. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use jobzeeker.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to use the service lawfully.
4. The CV you upload
By uploading a CV, you confirm that:
- it is your own, or you have the necessary rights and consent to upload it;
- the information in it is yours to share; and
- it does not infringe anyone's rights and is not unlawful.
You grant us a limited, revocable licence to process your CV solely to produce and show your matches and, if you use Apply for me, to write your letters and application answers. We do not use it to train models or for any other purpose, and you can delete it at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use jobzeeker to:
- upload another person's data without their consent, or impersonate anyone;
- scrape, resell, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service or its data;
- use automated means to extract listings in bulk; or
- do anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
6. Your data and our platform
- You retain all rights in the CV you upload.
- We retain all rights in the jobzeeker platform, software, models, prompts, the matched dataset, branding, and website.
- Job listings and company information are sourced from employers' own public career pages and remain the property of their respective owners.
7. Passes and payment
- Access is sold as one-time, time-boxed passes (not a subscription), priced in US dollars and shown before purchase. There are two passes, Search and Apply, each for 1 month. Both grant matching across every active city for their duration, subject to fair use; Apply also includes more of the Apply for me features (section 15).
- Payments are processed by Stripe; by paying you also agree to Stripe's terms. We never receive your full card details.
- What a pass includes, including any Apply for me features, is shown before you buy.
- Applicable taxes, if any, are shown or added at checkout.
- At checkout you agree that access begins immediately, so your pass starts as soon as your payment is confirmed.
8. Withdrawal
If you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason.
To withdraw, send us a clear statement before the 14 days end: email support@jobzeeker.io from the address on your account, or use the model form below. You don't have to use the form.
At checkout you ask for your pass to start immediately. If you then withdraw, you pay for the days your pass was active and we refund the rest to your original card via Stripe, within 14 days of receiving your notice. The share you pay is the price times the days used, divided by the pass length (30 days, or 90 or 180 days for a 3-month or 6-month pass bought before 28 October 2026).
If you live anywhere else, a purchase is final, unless the law where you live gives you a right to cancel. Swiss law gives no such right for online purchases.
Your statutory rights are unaffected, including the legal guarantee that the service matches its description.

9. AI output
jobzeeker produces match suggestions, cover letters and application answers using third-party AI models. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose, and you are responsible for reviewing and verifying any listing, letter or answer before acting on it or sending it.
10. Warranties and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Swiss law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or from data you upload without the necessary rights or consent.
12. Termination
You may stop using jobzeeker and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or where required by law.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, and the competent Swiss courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
15. Apply for me
Apply for me helps you apply to a match. Depending on your pass, we write a cover letter, prepare answers to common application questions, and our browser extension fills in the employer's application form on a page you open. Search includes cover letters. Apply adds written answers and the extension. Without a pass, each account can get one free cover letter.
- You submit, not us. We never send an application for you. The extension fills what it can and stops. You review the form and decide whether to submit it.
- Check everything before you send it. Letters and answers are written by AI from your CV and the job posting, and the extension can miss a field or fill one wrongly. They can be wrong, incomplete or not what you would say. Correct them before you submit: what you send is your responsibility.
- Your details must be true. Use Apply for me only for yourself and only with accurate information.
- No outcome is promised. We do not guarantee that an employer will read, accept or reply to your application, or that you will get an interview or a job.
- The employer's terms apply. Once you submit, the employer handles your application under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not part of that exchange.
- Daily allowances and fair use. Each pass allows a set number of cover letters, written answers and autofilled form pages in any 24 hours, shown on its card on our pricing page, and there is also a limit per hour. A pass bought before 18 October 2026 keeps the allowances it was sold with until it ends. CV uploads have a daily limit too, with or without a pass. When you reach a limit, we tell you when you can ask again.
